We arrived early in the morning when we returned from a New Zealand cruise. The staff was helpful and we could leave our luggage at the accommodation then go for a walk and look around until check-in time. Once we arrived back we even got our room early! They also helped us book taxis when we needed them. The hotel's location is good. It is on a quiet street next to/behind a police station and close to busy Oxford Street. I didn't mind it but it is on a hill and might be difficult for some people. The lobby was located inside the building and by the entrance there was a café. The room was large and had, as requested when booking, two single beds for me and my dad. There was a small fridge, a kettle and a capsule coffee maker in the room. The bathroom was also roomy and although the showers had those hot and cold faucets it was easy to get the water to an agreeable temperature. One lovely detail was that we stayed over New Year's and when we arrived back from watching the fireworks in the harbour there was a bottle of sparkling wine waiting for us and a cute message from the hotel wishing us all the best for 2025!

The staff were so understanding and helpful, I really appreciated the staffs help. We were having an family emergency and their willingness to go that extra mile for us, especially Hagi and Jaime, who was there in our dire time of need ~ We will forever be grateful for their outstanding service and kindness. I loved how colourful the decoration was and how clean and easy it was to move around. No matter where you are, it is photogenic. Bored of working in your room? Go to the lobby, tired of that spot, go to the other side of the lobby, it’s excellent. Easy to walk around and navigate to public transport. Also love the chairs in the lobby, reminds me of Task Master the tv show.

We had a twin room & the beds were comfy & soft. The bathroom was spacious with a plenty of room. There is no air ventilation in the bathroom & the floor became really wet & slippery each time we had showers. The room was tiny with no space to walk around the beds. This was difficult for me due to my mobility issues. The location is amazing & is walking distance from the Central railway station, Sydney iconic sites & plenty of cafes & restaurants nearby. The staff were all friendly, helpful & polite. We were able to store our luggage prior to checking in & again on our departure date.

The location, size of room, and staff members were all perfect. It’s a lovely hotel with loads of character in both the lobby and rooms. Location-wise, there were at least three bus stops within 1-3 minute walk that easily got you all over Sydney easily. There was a great cafe downstairs that we got coffee from every day and had a great breakfast at one day as well. Our friends also stayed here and they were allowed to check in very early which was super nice.

My friend and I loved the decor and colours. The nice touches in the room of an old fashioned fridge and decor mirror and colourful carpet was great. The beds were super comfy. We also liked we were in a very quiet room which was excellent and there was this great painting on the outside wall. We were on level 12 so it was a very high painting! The location was also central to things but away from the hustle and bustle.
