Cafe in reception was great. There was also a nice Brazilian restaurant in the same building that had live music. The area is close to parks and also Oxford Street where there are a number of places to eat or buy food or other things. And it was a short walk downhill to Hyde Park. A bus was right next store that could take you down to Circular Quay.

Staff were very helpful sorting our booking mistake, I'd mistakenly booked a single room which had 3 single beds side by side, not ideal for a couple with a 21-year-old son. The staff were able to find us 2 separate rooms ( double beds & onsuite) for an addition £50. Bargain. The rooms are quirkily designed, with the on suite consisting of an orange glass pod that contained the shower and toilet facilities. This may not be to everyone's taste as you could actually see through it when the lights were on. Maybe a little more privacy would be suitable for most people. In the lobby there is an Italian cafe area, we only had breakfast there once, which was lovely and at a reasonable price. The location is an 8- 10 minute Uber from the opera house, ( between $14 - $26 AUD, depending on time of day) or a leisurely 20-25 minute walk ( mostly downhill to the harbour). we never walked back.

This is a colorful and quirky hotel. Perfect location and an excellent neighborhood near CDB. Not far from the train station and a short walk to many restaurants and pubs.

Ive been coming to stay at the Adge since it first opened in 2020 with just the one building. Each time i visit, im reminded why i continue to come back. I stayed in the king balcony room. The entrance to the room is a little pokey but my friend who uses a wheelchair was able to get in the room once we moved the little bench so it really wasn't that bad. The balcony was big and overlooked surruhills and darlinghirst - sadly they don't have any chairs on the balcony though!!! Depending on how high up your room is, you can indulge in some truly fascinating people watching as well. The decor you'll see in their photos is just the start. These days they have a wonderful Cafe downstairs with GOOD coffee! (One might think that staying in surry hills should mean easily accessible, good coffee.. it doesn't. So even if you decide not to stay here, do yourself a favour and try their coffee!) They've also got a lovely looking restaurant downstairs now too and im kicking myself for not giving it a try! The staff there are simply wonderful too. Ive NEVER come across a reception staff member that fits the stereotype of rude, entitled and/or judgemental. The hotel itself is about 2 minutes walk from Oxford Stc and just 5 minutes from central station. Running parallel to riley and just one street over is crown. St with several amazing restaurants. Despite its central location, this hotel is just off the main streets and in very close proximity to the police station on Goulburn St..

The location, size of room, and staff members were all perfect. It’s a lovely hotel with loads of character in both the lobby and rooms. Location-wise, there were at least three bus stops within 1-3 minute walk that easily got you all over Sydney easily. There was a great cafe downstairs that we got coffee from every day and had a great breakfast at one day as well. Our friends also stayed here and they were allowed to check in very early which was super nice.

Nice modern building with spacious rooms and a stylish lobby with lots of seating and a cafe. Bed was comfortable and hotel was very quiet. Clean laundry room located downstairs, but for exorbitant prices ($15).

We had a great stay at The ADGE. The hotel has a nice cafe with plenty of options, which we enjoyed. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the Wi-Fi worked well. It was also nice to have a fridge for some supplies. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like the beach towels and good quality shampoo. The bed and pillows were both very comfortable.
